[ 2019.10.24 ] The giant Mission Hills Resort has been unanimously declared as the “Best Golf Resort In The World”. This high honour will be bestowed upon the sprawling 44-square mile resort in China on November 6 at the 2019 Asian Golf Awards that will be held at the futuristic Indian city of Gurugram.

This prestigious award recognises the three Mission Hills locations in China and this includes Shenzhen, Dongguan on the Chinese mainland and Haikou on the Chinese island of Hainan.

Collectively, these three locations are home to a total of 22 golf courses which makes Mission Hills the world’s largest golf resort.

Besides the golf courses, the resort features world-class five-star hotels, spas, malls and a myriad of reactional facilities.

Commenting on the award, Angela Raymond, President of the Asia Pacific Golf Group, the owner and producer of the Asian Golf Awards said, “Mission Hills is truly a great golf resort which caters to the needs of discerning golfers and what it has to offer is very special and unique.”

The Asian Golf Awards is now in its 20th year and is widely regarded as the “Oscars” for the golf industry in the Asia Pacific region.
