Introducing National Service Resort & Country Club

Our new reciprocal in Singapore

Dear Members,

We are delighted to inform you that we have signed a new reciprocal arrangement with an exciting new club in Singapore --- National Service Resort & Country Club.

National Service Resort & Country Club's first golf course in Changi opened for play in 1993. The 18-hole championship golf course in Changi was originally designed by renowned golf architect Max Wexler, with subsequent additions by Ted Parslow of Malaysian golf design firm Parslow & Winter Golf Design.

National Service Resort & Country Club (NSRCC) is a golf and country club set up to recognize the contributions of operationally ready NSmen to Total Defence. Its membership is open to NSmen who have performed national service, as well as full-time NSmen.

The first Committee to Recognize the Contributions of Operationally-Ready NSmen mooted the idea of setting up a premium but affordable golf resort for NSmen. The club was officially opened in March 1994 as SAFRA Resort & Country Club. It was later renamed National Service Resort & Country Club (NSRCC) to better reflect the composition of its membership that comprises NSmen from the Army, Navy, Air force, Civil Defence and the Police Force.

National Service Resort Country Club Kranji Course contains 2 two-nine lush green courses at Kranji, both are designed with the emphasis of conservation and the recreating the beauty of natural habitats. A unique feature of the golf course is that it provides public access via a nature trail to designated bird-watching sites. This 18-Hole Gary Player course spans 6400m. Large stretches of swampland in National Service Resort Country Club Kranji Course natural state are preserved and left untouched, with new ponds, marshes and water bodies added as an integral part of the course.

The Armed Forces 9-hole course is characterized by its narrow fairways and numerous water hazards, which come into play on all but one hole. It offers golfers’ a beautiful view of the Kranji Reservoir. The highlight of this nine is our signature hole, the short but challenging Par-3 5th.

National Service Resort Country Club is only 10 minutes from Singapore Changi Airport.
