Overall Champion (best gross score)

The 2024 Golfathon Champion will win a Guest Package of Mission Hills Golfathon 2025, a free Golf & Hotel Package in Mission Hills · Haikou, including 2-night stay in SPA VILLA and 2 Haikou Course Green Coupons (excluding Blackstone Course and Lava Fields Course).

Division Winner (gross score & net score)

All division winners will win a Premier Haikou Package, including 1-night stay in Premier Room at Mission Hills • Haikou and 2 Haikou Course Green Coupons (excluding Blackstone Course and Lava Fields Course).

Division 1st Runner-up (gross score & net score)

All division first runners-up will win a Deluxe Haikou Package, including 1-night stay in Deluxe Room at Mission Hills • Haikou and 2 Haikou Course Green Coupons (excluding Blackstone Course and Lava Fields Course).

• Prizes will be given in sequence from gross to net. Winners of gross and net shall be different.
• If less than 10 players,prizes are based on the actual number of players in the respective division:

Participation Certificate

All participants who complete the entire 180 holes of Mission Hills Golfathon will be awarded a participation certificate.

Iron Man Honor Award

Challenge the 1st at the largest golf club in the world! Any player who can finish 9 qualifying rounds within 5 days (Monday- Friday) will be granted “Iron Man Spirit Award” and receive a Mission Hills Green Voucher (valid till 30^th September 2024).

Tournament Result

The decisions of the Tournament Committee and the Tournament Director regarding any disputes, rulings and results are valid and final.

Eligibility to Enrollment

• Open to all amateur players aged 12 and above.
• All players must properly register by completing the Tournament Entry Form and submitting it to the Tournament Office, Mission Hills Golf Club by 22^nd August 2024.

Division/Handicap/Tee Box

*    Juniors are in the same division

All participants must have a valid proof of handicap. Players shall be grouped into the divisions according to their gender and age (as of 1^st January 2024). Men aged 50 and above with a handicap of 18 or below may declare to play in the Men’s Division if they wish to tee off from the Blue Tee. This should be declared on the Entry Form.

Entry Fee (RMB) Includes 10 weekday tournament rounds green fee, cart fee-twin share, caddie and locker fees.(cart fee-single 50RMB)

• The Golf & Catering Package include 10-round weekday golf & electronic meal coupons RMB1,000(RMB100*10).
• The Golf & Stay Package includes 10-round weekday golf & 5-night accommodation in Grande Deluxe Room at Mission Hills • Dongguan (single occupancy with one breakfast).
• The privileges of Extra Provincial Membership Cards are not entitled to the Golfathon rounds.
• The Golfathon Package is for personal Weekday Only. (Monday - Friday,excluding mainland & Hong Kong public holidays).Once you have paid the golftathon entry fee,it cannot be canclled or extended.

Early Bird Incentive

• Participants who register and make full payment by 30th April 2024 will receive a Mission Hills electronic green voucher (valid till 15th September 2024, Monday – Friday, excluding mainland & Hong Kong public holidays).
• Juniors, Professions and Coaches are not entitled to enjoy the early bird special offer.

Qualifying

All players need to complete the 9 matches on the World Cup, Vijay, Faldo, Ozaki, Els, Norman, Leadbetter, Annika and Olazabal Course on or before 31^st August 2024. (The Golfathon rounds are subject to computer system.)

Semifinal

• The players who finished the Qualifying rounds on or before 31^st August 2024 will be qualified to participate in one of the semifinal rounds on 11^th September 2024 (Wednesday) at Annika Course.
• The format is New New Peoria (18 holes individual stroke play).
• The top 100 players from the Semifinal will be granted to the Grand Final 2024.

The players who give up the semifinal should complete 10 rounds on or before 15^th September 2024

Grand Final

The date of the Grand Final is scheduled on 27^th September 2024 (Friday) (subject to change with prior notification) and shall be played over the Olazabal Course. The overall Champion of the tournament shall be determined by the player with the lowest gross score in the final 18 holes competition and the net score prizes shall be determined in the New New Peoria format. The hole numbers for New New Peoria will be drew by the last player finishing the competition. A prize presentation dinner shall be arranged for all finalists.

1.  Golfathon Passport

Passports will be issued by Member & Guest Services Office from 15^th April 2024. The original copy of Membership Cards or nonmember ID Certificates will be required for the issuance of Golfathon passports. Golfathon passport is valid for holder ONLY. Any infringement will be forfeited without refund and the holder will be disqualified from the tournament. 2. Tee Time Reservation Policy

All participants are encouraged to reserve their tee time for the Golfathon rounds 10 days in advance in order to avoid disappointments. Tee time cancellation should be made 48 hours in advance. Handling Charge will applied for following situation:

3. Check in Policy

Members:Members must present their Golfathon passports and membership cards to the golf reception for registration and show to Caddie Master and Starter.

Non-members:Non-members must present their Golfathon passports and ID certificates to the golf reception for registration and present to Caddie Master and Starter.

4. The Tournament

All tournament rounds are to be played during WEEKDAYS (excluding mainland & Hong Kong public holidays).RMB 50 will be charged if one player uses the cart.

Golfathon is limited to day golf competitions.

Green Vouchers (excluding Haikou Course Green Coupons) can be used to redeem Green Fee for one round of golf in all the courses in Shenzhen, Dongguan or Haikou, excluding Shenzhen Pete Dye Course and Zhang Lianwei Course, Haikou Blackstone Course and Lava Fields Course. Vouchers are only available during weekdays in Shenzhen and Dongguan (excluding mainland & Hong Kong public holidays).

5. Incomplete Round

For any Golfathon round that cannot be completed due to inclement weather and closure of the golf courses, the participant may opt to resume the golf round when the weather permits ONLY on the same day, or to void the incomplete Golfathon round. In the latter instance, the player needs to pay for the holes played: Members (who play on privileged course) at RMB 450÷18 holes  actual holes, Juniors at RMB 930÷18 holes  actual holes, Professions & Coaches at RMB 980÷18 holes  actual holes,Members (who don’t play on privileged course) and Guests at RMB 1330÷18 holes  actual holes.

6. Tournament Withdrawal Policy

Withdrawal of Entry is NOT allowed once you have paid the entry fee.

7. Suspended Membership

Suspended membership cannot purchase the Golfathon package at member’s rate until the membership status is re-activated. If the membership is suspended during the Golfathon period, his/her participation in Golfathon shall be terminated and that no refund of the entry fee paid shall be arranged.

8. Exclusive Policy

Golfathon packages cannot be used in conjunction with golf outings and any other promotional offers.

9. Statement

• Mission Hills reserves the right to limit the number of entries and modify the terms and conditions herein and tournament rules and regulations anyway it deems fit and necessary at its full discretion.
• The Golfathon Committee reserves the right to disqualify any player for making a false statement or claim on the entry form or scorecard.
• Mission Hills reserves the right to interpret any of the tournament rules and regulations, terms and conditions set forth herein and makes decision on any disputes arising therefore which shall be final.
